S J Suryah's Heartfelt Apology to Nani

Chennai: Actor S J Suryah expressed his regret over not adequately responding to fellow actor Nani's congratulatory message regarding the Gaddar Telangana Film Award for Best Supporting Actor, which Nani received for his role in Saripoda Sanivaram.

On Saturday, S J Suryah took to X to share a sincere note that included an apology.

He stated, "Dear Natural Star @NameisNani sir… I apologize for my brief response during the shoot; it wasn't appropriate. Simply saying 'thank you' isn't sufficient… Without your support and that of director Vivek sir, this achievement wouldn't have been possible. You are a hero both on and off the screen. Thank you very much for your kind words, sir (sic)."

Previously, Nani had congratulated S J Suryah on Twitter, acknowledging his performance as the antagonist in the film.

Nani's tweet read, "Congratulations sir. You were not just a villain or supporting actor in Saripodha; you were everything. Most deserving." In a hasty reply, S J Suryah had simply responded, "Thanks a lot, Natural star Nani sir."

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, featuring Nani and S J Suryah, is an action-thriller that became a major hit, ranking among the highest-grossing films of the year.

Directed by Vivek Athreya, known for Ante Sundaraniki, the film also stars Priyanka Mohan, Abhirami, Aditi Balan, P. Sai Kumar, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Murali Sharma, and Ajay Ghosh in significant roles. The storyline follows Surya, who battles against injustices and ultimately confronts a corrupt police officer named Daya.

Released on August 29, 2024, the film garnered widespread acclaim from both audiences and critics.
