Rohit Shetty Faces New Extortion Threat Ahead of Khatron Ke Khiladi 15
New Death Threats for Rohit Shetty
Filmmaker Rohit Shetty has reportedly received alarming death threats as he prepares for the upcoming season of Khatron Ke Khiladi 15. An audio clip demanding ₹20 crore in extortion has surfaced, raising serious concerns about his safety, especially following a shooting incident outside his residence in Juhu a few months ago. Authorities have indicated that the clip was sent to Shetty's team and is believed to be linked to the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The Mumbai Crime Branch has initiated an investigation and is conducting forensic analysis on the audio to confirm its legitimacy.
Details of the Extortion Threat
According to reports, the audio clip threatens Shetty with further violence if the extortion demand is not met. It ominously states that the previous shooting incident was merely a warning. A police officer from the Mumbai Crime Branch confirmed that Shetty's staff reported receiving this threatening audio. The Juhu Police have filed a case and are examining the clip, suspecting that the voice may belong to an individual named Shubham Lonkar.
