Riddhima first appeared on the Netflix reality series Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives. Prior to that, she had kept a low profile, aware that her father, despite his extensive experience in the film industry, was firmly against her entering the acting world. Neetu shared, "Riddhima grew up knowing that if she ever expressed a desire to be an actress, it would deeply upset her father." She further remarked, "She is incredibly talented and beautiful, with a knack for mimicry that could rival any actress. However, even as a child, she understood how much it would distress her father if she chose this path. He is not opposed to actresses or women working in films, but he is fiercely protective of his family."
Concerns About Stardom
Neetu explained that the challenges associated with fame worried Rishi, who wanted to shield their daughter from the potential pitfalls of the industry. This concern lingered throughout Riddhima’s upbringing until she married Bharat. Once she settled down, Rishi felt a sense of relief, and their relationship grew stronger and more open.
