Veteran actor Nana Patekar has sadly passed away at his residence in Goa at 5:20 AM on Thursday due to a severe cardiac arrest. Despite efforts to revive him with CPR for 45 minutes, he could not be saved. Dr. Shekhar Salkar, who heads the Oncology Department at Manipal Hospital in Goa, confirmed that the actor suffered a cardiac arrest at home.

Patekar made his Hindi film debut in 1978 with *Gaman*.
