Unyielding Spirit Against Threats
Puri shared in an interview with Friday Talkies how Dharmendra boldly confronted gangsters, warning them to be cautious of his "army from Punjab." He reminisced, "During that era, the underworld was quite powerful. Many actors would tremble at their calls. However, Dharmendra and his family stood their ground. He would assert, 'If you dare to come, the whole of Sahnewal will rally from Punjab. You may have ten men, but I command an entire army.' He would confidently declare that a fleet of trucks would arrive to defend him. They never dared to cross him."
