The latest to pass is Anthony Head, who died at the age of 72 due to complications from pneumonia. His family reported that he spent his final moments surrounded by his daughters, Emily and Daisy Head. Known for his role as Rupert Giles, the mentor to Buffy Summers, portrayed by Sarah Michelle Gellar, Head also appeared in popular series like Merlin and Ted Lasso.

Head gained fame in the UK through a series of Nescafé commercials aired from 1987 to 1993 alongside Sharon Maughan. Anthony Head's partner, Sarah Fisher, passed away in December 2025 at the age of 61; she was known for her advocacy in animal welfare. He is survived by his daughters, Emily, 37, and Daisy, 35, both of whom are actresses. Emily appeared alongside her father in The Inbetweeners, while Daisy is recognized for her role in the Netflix series Shadow and Bone. Additionally, Head's brother, Murray, is also an actor, having performed in the musical Chess and the film Sunday Bloody Sunday (1971).
