On her Instagram, Preet posted a video showcasing her injuries, including her puffy eyes. She expressed her disbelief, stating that she had always perceived Mumbai as a safe city for women, never anticipating such a violent encounter. Watch her Instagram video below:

"As I pen this, I’m still shaking; my face is bruised, and I’m trying to process what just happened. I was simply having a good time with my friend when a girl started yelling at us, questioning our presence there," she recounted.

Preet described how the verbal spat quickly turned into a frightening ordeal. She revealed that the girl's male companion physically attacked her and her friend, resulting in a broken tooth and significant facial swelling. "It was only when bystanders stepped in that the violence stopped. Later, I discovered that the girl is a so-called influencer," she added.

In her closing remarks, Preet expressed her disbelief that such an incident could happen so brazenly. She emphasized that no one should have to face such violence.
