Ravi Mohan Announces Title Change for Upcoming Film Amid Election Excitement
Voter Enthusiasm in Tamil Nadu's 2026 Elections
The 2026 elections in Tamil Nadu saw a remarkable turnout, with voters lining up early at polling stations across the state. Notable figures from Kollywood, including Rajinikanth, Vijay, and Kamal Haasan, participated in the voting process, encouraging their fans to do the same. Amid this civic engagement, actor Ravi Mohan made headlines for his spiritual visit to Tirupati alongside Keneeshaa Francis and director R Kannan. During a media interaction, he conveyed his election wishes and provided updates on his upcoming projects, notably announcing a title change for his much-anticipated film, Bro Code, which is now officially titled Bro Club.

Ravi Mohan Talks About Bro Club
While many celebrities were spotted at polling booths, Ravi Mohan opted to spend part of his day at the Tirupati temple with Keneeshaa Francis. He greeted fans with a “Happy Election Day” and shifted the conversation to his future film projects. He disclosed that titles like Genie, Karathey Babu, and Bro Club are currently in the works. This announcement marks the first public confirmation of the new title, Bro Club, replacing the previous Bro Code.
The title alteration follows a lengthy legal battle. In November 2025, the Madras High Court provided interim relief to Ravi Mohan’s production company, permitting limited use of the title. However, prior rulings from the Delhi High Court had prohibited the use of Bro Code due to trademark infringement issues. This legal dispute originated from a complaint by Indospirit Beverages Private Limited, which markets a product under the same name. The court indicated that using an identical title for a film could lead to confusion and potentially undermine the brand’s established identity. The transition to Bro Club seems to be a strategic decision to sidestep further legal issues and facilitate a smoother film release.
