Ravi Kishan's Departure from Reality Show

Ravi Kishan, the actor and politician, was a notable participant in Kunal Kemmu's reality series Alliance. However, he opted to exit the show during Episode 6 to focus on his duties as a Member of Parliament representing Gorakhpur. After his departure, Ravi engaged in an exclusive interview with Zoom, where he reminisced about the ups and downs of his career in the entertainment sector, particularly the challenging times when he faced difficulties in gaining acceptance.

Facing Humiliation from 90s Actors

Ravi Kishan reacts to humiliation by 90s actors

In his conversation with Zoom, Ravi Kishan candidly discussed the rejection and humiliation he experienced from several prominent actors during the 1990s. He shared insights on how he managed to overcome these challenges and establish a successful career in the industry. He emphasized, "This serves as a lesson for my juniors and the younger generation. The youth, particularly Gen Z, shower me with affection. With a population of 1.4 billion, India has nearly 65% of its people under the age of 30, many of whom are seeking hope and guidance. While some may succumb to despair after failure, others may turn to alcohol. They should look at my journey as evidence that one can persevere despite setbacks."

Transforming Rejection into Strength

Ravi Kishan on turning rejection into strength

Ravi Kishan elaborated on how he transformed rejection into a source of strength, stating, "Humiliation and rejection are integral to life and society. That’s perfectly fine. Just as Lord Shiva contained poison in his throat without swallowing or discarding it, I held onto my pain. I converted every rejection and humiliation into my strength and motivation."

Reflecting on how criticism and rejection propelled his journey rather than breaking his spirit, Ravi Kishan remarked, "People used to say, 'You're making Bhojpuri films; your career is finished.' They never envisioned that I would one day create my own industry, forge my own opportunities, and rise to stardom independently." He added, "Some individuals lack a godfather in their lives and must become their own. That was my life's challenge—to be my own godfather. There was a time when I was merely a filler. Today, people are crafting my entire narrative. That’s nature’s response."

Recently, Ravi Kishan appeared in the Netflix film Maa Behen, alongside Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri.
