Rapper Badshah Faces Death Threat Amid Controversy
Death Threat Linked to Lawrence Bishnoi Gang
In the midst of the ongoing Tateeree controversy, rapper Badshah has reportedly been threatened with death, allegedly by the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang. A post circulating on social media warned the artist, stating that they would "shoot him directly in the forehead" next time.
Details of the Threat
The alarming message claimed that a recent shooting incident at a Panipat office, associated with a Western Union hawala operation, was executed under the orders of Randeep Malik and Anil Pandit, who are based in the US. The post accused the target of facilitating illegal money transfers abroad, which it argued was detrimental to the nation's economy. It further stated that the individual had previously been warned but ignored the caution, suggesting that the recent incident was merely a "trailer" of what could come next.
Badshah's Alleged Cultural Impact
The same post directed threats towards Badshah, accusing him of attempting to undermine the culture of Haryana. It claimed that a prior warning had been issued and hinted at severe repercussions in the future. "Note: Singer Badshah, the way you tried to spoil Haryana’s culture—earlier in 2024 we showed you a 'trailer' at your club. Next time, we will shoot you directly in the forehead," the message read.

At this time, the authenticity of the post has not been independently verified. This threat comes as Badshah faces backlash over accusations of "sexualising young school-going girls" in his lyrics, leading him to remove the controversial song.
