Ranveer Singh's Potential Role as Lord Shiva Sparks Excitement Among Fans
Exciting News for Ranveer Singh Fans
Fans of Ranveer Singh were thrilled to hear that he might portray Lord Shiva on the big screen. Reports suggest that he will also take on the role of producer for this film, which is set to be a trilogy.
According to a report from a popular entertainment site, Ranveer Singh is gearing up for one of the most significant projects of his career. The report indicates that he has acquired the rights to Amish Tripathi's acclaimed book, The Immortals of Meluha, under his production company, Maa Kasam Film. This ambitious project will be developed in collaboration with Birla Studios as a grand trilogy.
The report further states that work is currently underway on the film's script and world-building. Both Ranveer Singh and Ananya Birla are actively involved in the creative development of this project. Notably, Ranveer Singh is expected to portray the character of Lord Shiva in this trilogy.
However, Amish Tripathi, the author of the book, has dismissed these claims. He expressed his admiration for Ranveer Singh but clarified that he still holds the rights to the book and that no film is currently in production.
The book, The Immortals of Meluha, was released in 2010 and is the first installment of Tripathi's Shiva trilogy. If the news about Ranveer Singh playing Shiva turns out to be true, it would certainly be intriguing.
Ranveer Singh is also in the spotlight for his upcoming film directed by Aditya Dhar and another project titled Pralay by Jai Mehta.
His previous film, Dhurandhar 2, featured him as Indian spy Jaskirat Singh Rangi, a role that won the hearts of many. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film made history in terms of box office earnings.
