Record-Breaking Success for 'Dhurandhar The Revenge'

Mumbai: The latest film featuring Ranveer Singh, Dhurandhar The Revenge, has made a remarkable impact at the global box office, amassing an impressive Rs 1,500 crore within just two weeks of its debut, as announced by the production team on Thursday.

Under the direction of Aditya Dhar and produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the film has achieved a gross of Rs 1,501 crore globally, establishing itself as the highest-grossing Indian film in history in a mere 15 days.

This cinematic release has shattered numerous box office records, including the title of the biggest Hindi film opener ever, along with the highest collections in the first and second weeks, the largest opening weekend globally, and the quickest film to hit Rs 1,000 crore worldwide.

Internationally, the film has garnered Rs 367 crore in its initial two weeks, making it the top-grossing Indian film in North America and the largest Indian film in overseas markets during its first week.

Additionally, it has outperformed the total overseas earnings of the first film in the franchise, Dhurandhar, in just 10 days.

Domestically, the film has earned Rs 1,134 crore, with a net collection (post-tax) of Rs 961 crore, bringing it close to the Rs 1,000 crore nett milestone—a benchmark reached by only a select few Hindi films like Dangal.

This sequel to the 2025 hit Dhurandhar premiered on March 19 in multiple languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

The cast features Singh alongside notable actors such as R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi.

Set against the backdrop of Lyari, Karachi, an area infamous for gang conflicts and violent territorial disputes, Dhurandhar: The Revenge follows the journey of Singh's character, Hamza Ali Mazari, as he navigates the Karachi underworld, exploring his transformation from Jaskirat Singh Rangi, a young man into a covert operative.
