The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has issued a non-cooperation order against actor Ranveer Singh following his departure from the film Don 3. This decision came after producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani revealed that they had invested ₹45 crore in the film's pre-production. In response to the FWICE's directive, Ranveer reportedly sent a legal notice to the organization, prompting speculation that the film body may need to address the matter in court. Recent updates suggest that FWICE might reconsider its stance and lift the non-cooperation order against the actor.

On June 2, FWICE announced a press conference scheduled for June 3, where it is anticipated that the organization will declare the lifting of the non-cooperation directive against Ranveer. Reports indicate that this decision was made after discussions with senior industry members. A source mentioned, "In short, the workers are now free to work with Ranveer Singh in his upcoming projects." However, an official announcement from FWICE is still pending.
Previously, FWICE had instructed its members to refrain from collaborating with Ranveer on future projects, following a request from Farhan Akhtar, who expressed concerns over the actor's abrupt exit just days before filming was set to begin. FWICE President Ashoke Pandit stated, "None of our workers or members, across all crafts, will work on any of his projects. We have requested that all producers take a stand, join us in solidarity, speak out against this conduct, and make a firm decision." He later clarified that the directive was not a complete ban on Ranveer.
