Ongoing Drama in Bollywood Surrounding Ranveer Singh

The Bollywood scene is buzzing with updates regarding the ongoing controversy involving Ranveer Singh and the film Don 3. This situation has drawn in various stakeholders, including the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), CINTAA, and numerous celebrities. Recently, Kangana Ranaut came to Ranveer's defense, suggesting that success often invites criticism. In response, FWICE chief advisor Ashoke Pandit has sharply criticized those commenting on the matter without grasping the full context. He emphasized that the federation's concerns are not aimed at Ranveer personally but rather at broader issues of professional responsibility and accountability.

Ashoke Pandit's Take on Kangana Ranaut's Comments

In an interview with HT City, Ashoke Pandit addressed the rising number of reactions from industry figures regarding the ongoing situation with Ranveer Singh and Don 3. He pointed out that many in the industry have been criticizing FWICE without fully understanding the reasons behind its actions. Pandit remarked, "Yesterday, Kangana also said something. We are not understanding the whole issue, and people are just commenting."

Pandit also took issue with Kangana's statements, asserting that she was speaking without knowing the full details. He stated, "Kangana also said that even I have been banned by the industry. I said, 'You talk nonsense, that's why I banned you.' I don't care. There is a big issue of the industry here. You don't even know the issue. You are just saying things." He clarified that FWICE's stance should not be misconstrued as a personal attack on Ranveer.

Kangana's Support for Ranveer Singh

Pandit's remarks followed Kangana Ranaut's comments during the trailer launch of her upcoming film Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata. When questioned about the non-cooperation directive against Ranveer, she drew parallels to her own experiences in the industry, stating, "You are asking me, I have been banned by everybody!"

Kangana suggested that with success comes inevitable criticism and opposition. She remarked, "Today, Ranveer Singh should consider what his status is that he has so many enemies." She encouraged him to maintain a positive outlook and view challenges as part of his professional journey. Reflecting on her own path, she noted that despite facing numerous hurdles and industry challenges, she managed to persevere and succeed.

The controversy originated from Ranveer Singh's exit from Don 3. FWICE reported that producer-director Farhan Akhtar had raised concerns that the actor's departure led to significant financial losses after extensive pre-production had already taken place. Following this complaint, FWICE issued a non-cooperation directive against Ranveer Singh. However, the federation has clarified that this action should not be interpreted as a ban. As of June 3, FWICE has rescinded its non-cooperation directive after Ranveer sent a legal notice.
