Ranbir Kapoor Honors Legends at Ramayana Event
Mumbai: Renowned Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor is preparing for his highly anticipated film Ramayana and recently participated in a significant event in the capital city.
At the gathering, he was seen paying his respects by touching the feet of esteemed Indian poet Kumar Vishwas and veteran actor Sunny Deol. Ranbir took the opportunity to greet both personalities warmly on stage.
In Ramayana, Sunny Deol portrays the character of Lord Hanuman, showcasing a polished appearance with a clean-shaven look.
Kumar Vishwas, known for his ability to connect Hindi poetry with younger generations, captivates audiences with his engaging stage presence and relatable style. He gained national recognition during the 2011 India Against Corruption movement.
Although he was a founding member of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), he later stepped back from active politics due to internal disagreements. Today, Kumar Vishwas is a respected public figure, often sharing insights on Indian culture, history, and literature through lectures, writings, and social media.
The event for Ramayana took place ahead of the film's trailer launch scheduled for July 24. This occasion, known as Pratham Sankalp, symbolized the ceremonial start of the film's journey from India to the global stage.
Pratham Sankalp also marked a historic gathering of the film's main cast, celebrating a significant moment that brought together various generations of Indian cinema to honor one of the country's most cherished cultural narratives.
