This infection initially affected his daughter, Raha, and it is believed that he contracted it while caring for her. Even with the discomfort that comes with conjunctivitis, Kapoor has decided to fulfill his professional obligations and attend the trailer launch. Sources suggest that he may take precautions, such as wearing sunglasses during the event to alleviate any irritation. The trailer launch is set for July 18 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, kicking off the film's global promotional efforts. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, "Ramayana" is one of the most awaited Indian films in recent years. The event is expected to include several cast members, although it is still uncertain if Yash, who plays Rahana, and Sanjay Dutt, who portrays Lord Hanuman, will be present.

After the launch in India, the "Ramayana" team will travel to San Diego Comic-Con on July 23 for a special presentation, marking it as only the second Indian film to be featured at this prestigious event, following "Kalki 2898 AD." With a staggering budget of 4,000 crore rupees, "Ramayana" stands as one of the most ambitious projects in Indian cinema, boasting music from acclaimed composers A.R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer. The film is planned to be released as a two-part saga, with the first part slated for Diwali 2026 and the second for Diwali 2027.
