Ram Charan is preparing for the debut of his new film, Peddi, which is scheduled to hit theaters on April 30. In anticipation of its release, the film's team has shared a fresh sneak peek featuring Ram. This reveal coincided with the actor's birthday and the celebration of Ram Navami. The clip showcases Ram wielding a gada and demonstrating his wrestling prowess in an akhada. Directed by Buchi Babu Suna, the film also stars Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyenndu, Jagapathi Babu, among others.

In this film, Ram Charan portrays the character of Peddi Pehelwan, while Janhvi Kapoor plays his love interest, Achiyamma. Additionally, Shiv Rajkumar takes on the role of Gournaidu, with Divyenndu and Jagapathi Babu in supporting roles.

Ram Charan's Recent Injury Update

Recently, Ram Charan sustained an eye injury while filming 'Peddi', directed by Buchi Babu Suna. Following his recovery, the production team provided an update via social media.

On X, the 'Peddi' team addressed concerns regarding the minor incident, assuring fans that Ram is doing well. They stated, "He had a minor injury to the left eye on the sets, and a small procedure was performed. He will resume shooting tomorrow without any disruptions to the schedule. We appreciate the concern, but there is no need for worry. Everything is under control, and the film continues to progress smoothly," they noted in a message shared on X (formerly Twitter).

'Peddi' is produced by Vriddhi Cinemas and IVY Entertainment, with filming beginning in November 2024 and the title announced in 2025. The music for the film is composed by AR Rahman, while Buchi Babu Sana has penned the script. The distribution is managed by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. In addition to the main cast, Viji Chandrasekhar, Rajatava Dutta, Boman Irani, and Satya are also part of the film.
