Ram Charan's Peddi Surpasses ₹200 Crore Mark in 10 Days
Peddi Achieves Major Box Office Milestone
Box Office Update for Peddi: Ram Charan's latest film, Peddi, has officially crossed the ₹200 crore net threshold within just ten days of its theatrical release, marking a significant achievement for the Indian film industry. The sports-action film continues to perform robustly in its second weekend, joining the ranks of the fastest Telugu films to reach this impressive milestone. Despite facing some backlash regarding the depiction of Janhvi Kapoor's character, the film has maintained its strong box office presence.
According to trade analysts, Peddi experienced a notable surge in ticket sales, particularly on its second Saturday. The film's online bookings reflected a healthy increase, with audiences flocking to theaters in major markets. Between 1 PM and 2 PM on Day 10, over 10,000 tickets were sold via BookMyShow, nearly doubling the sales from the previous day during the same time frame.
By the afternoon of Day 10, Peddi had already garnered additional revenue from approximately 1,800 shows across the country. The film's net earnings in India surpassed ₹200 crore, while its gross revenue exceeded ₹238 crore, solidifying its position as one of the top Telugu films of the year.
This accomplishment places Peddi ahead of They Call Him OG, which concluded its run with lower earnings than Ram Charan's latest project.
Peddi has now become the ninth-fastest Telugu film to enter the ₹200 crore net club. While other blockbuster films like RRR and Baahubali 2 achieved this milestone more rapidly, Peddi has still outperformed many other significant commercial hits. Its consistent performance and strong support during the second weekend have helped it secure a prominent place among Tollywood's top performers in recent years.
Internationally, Peddi is also performing well, particularly in North America, where it is approaching the lifetime earnings of several notable Telugu films. Positive word of mouth and sustained audience interest have contributed to its success thus far.
