Rakul Preet Singh and Team Promote 'Pati Patni Aur Woh Do' at Gir National Park
Promotional Visit to Gir National Park
Actors Rakul Preet Singh, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Wamiqa Gabbi, along with singers Zahrah S Khan and Faheem Abdullah, recently visited Gir National Park in Gujarat to promote their upcoming romantic comedy, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do. Clips from this promotional event quickly gained traction on social media. In one video, Rakul was seen walking around while Ayushmann, Wamiqa, and the rest of the crew remained in their jeeps. Given that the Gir National Park is a protected area, some internet users raised concerns about the actress seemingly disregarding the rules.
Clarification from Forest Authorities
In response to the backlash, the authorities of Gir National Park issued a statement confirming that Rakul did not breach any regulations and was not inside the park itself. The Deputy Conservator of Forests from the Wildlife Division, Sasan-Gir, stated that the footage was captured outside the entry point of the park. The statement emphasized that the incident did not occur within the restricted area, where stepping out of safari vehicles is prohibited.

The statement further explained that Rakul had arrived with her team for a scheduled visit to the sanctuary. However, she encountered a medical issue prior to entering, which led her team to escort her back without entering the sanctuary grounds. The official reassured that no rules were breached during this incident.
In the viral footage, Rakul appeared visibly stressed. While her team prepared for the safari, she was seen outside the jeep. Shortly after, she was escorted away by several individuals, including two police officers.
