Earlier this year, he surrendered in connection with the cheque-bounce case and was granted interim bail shortly after spending time in Tihar Jail on February 16.

The film, which also features Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Mithila Palkar, is scheduled for a theatrical release on April 17, with paid previews on April 16.
