Rajkummar Rao and Manushi Chillar Star in Upcoming Gangster Drama 'Maalik'

Exciting New Film 'Maalik'

Mumbai, June 10: The talented actor Rajkummar Rao is set to share the screen with former Miss World Manushi Chillar in their first on-screen romance in the anticipated gangster film "Maalik".

To give fans a glimpse of their captivating chemistry, the creators of this action-packed thriller have released the film's lead track titled "Naamumkin".

This romantic song beautifully illustrates the tender side of a fierce gangster (played by Rajkummar) as he develops feelings for a character portrayed by Manushi.

The enchanting melody of "Naamumkin" has been composed by the duo Sachin-Jigar, with lyrics crafted by Amitabh Bhattacharya, and the song features the impressive vocals of Varun Jain and Shreya Ghoshal.

Recently, the production companies behind "Maalik", Tips Films and Northern Lights Films, generated excitement among cinema enthusiasts by announcing Manushi's role as the female lead opposite Rajkummar.

Prior to this, fans were treated to an intriguing teaser of "Maalik", showcasing Rajkummar in a striking new role as a formidable gangster.

The teaser opens with the main character stating, “There are two types of people in society. One earns his living through hard work, while the other takes it by force. I belong to the latter. I don’t care about others’ opinions of me. Whether I’m seen as a villain or a hero, I’m the hero of my own story.”

The film was officially announced on Rajkummar's 40th birthday, August 31.

Directed by Pulkit, this action drama will also feature notable actors such as Prosenjit Chatterjee, Medha Shankr, Huma Qureshi, Anshumaan Pushkar, and Swanand Kirkire in significant roles.

Produced by Kumar Taurani under the Tips Films banner in collaboration with Jay Shewakramani of Northern Lights Films, "Maalik" is set to hit theaters on July 11 this year.
