Rahul Roy Sets the Record Straight Amid Health Concerns and Online Criticism
Rahul Roy Addresses Health and Financial Rumors
Actor Rahul Roy has assured fans that he is in good health and feeling content. This reassurance comes after social media users expressed worries about his well-being and financial status. Some commenters suggested that he was deliberately posting videos that highlighted his disheveled look. On Sunday, he shared two photos on his Instagram, explaining that he has a twin brother in Canada, which often leads to confusion regarding their appearances.
Rahul Roy Responds to Online Critics
In a detailed post, he expressed his appreciation for those who have supported him, stating, “This message is for my critics and those spreading false narratives. I am safe and well taken care of by my sister @harimaapriyanka and brother-in-law @romeersen.” He further addressed the trolls, saying, “I have clothing, food, and a vehicle; I am not living on the streets, and the portrayal in these videos is misleading.”
Regarding a viral clip of him in an auto-rickshaw, the Aashiqui actor stated, “I prefer not to have a bodyguard; it’s a personal choice. If I occasionally take an auto, it’s just more convenient for me.” He urged his followers to ignore those who create videos claiming to help him financially.
Understanding the Backlash
The criticism intensified after Roy posted several videos that some viewers labeled as 'cringe-worthy.' In one reel, he was seen dancing to Tere Dar Pe Sanam from Phir Teri Kahaani Yaad Aayi, a film in which he starred with Pooja Bhatt. While some users expressed concern for his well-being, others mocked the videos, deeming them embarrassing.
Previously, the actor had taken to social media to emphasize that he approaches his career with sincerity and humility. He mentioned having some legal matters to resolve, which are not new but date back to before his brain stroke. “If you truly care, please assist me in finding legitimate work so I can address these issues. I prefer to earn through hard work rather than by making fun of others,” he concluded. On the work front, Rahul was last seen in Kanu Behl's Agra.
