At the Cannes Lions conference, Priyanka shared her thoughts on reinventing her career in Hollywood. She expressed her desire to showcase the same versatility in English films that she demonstrated in India. She remarked, “In my Hindi-language career, I’ve collaborated with top filmmakers and actors, telling incredible stories across various genres. However, in Hollywood, I feel I haven’t achieved that level of diversity yet.”

Beyond her professional endeavors, Priyanka has also found a new home in the U.S. with her husband, Nick Jonas. The couple married in 2018 in a two-day ceremony that honored both Hindu and Christian traditions in Rajasthan. They welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, born via surrogacy on January 15, 2022. At the event, Priyanka shared how her priorities have shifted, stating, “I no longer just pack my bags for a movie. I’m selective about my projects and the time I spend with others. I’m navigating the challenges of being a working mom and have gained immense respect for my mother.”

Priyanka made her U.S. television debut in 2015 as Alex Parrish in the ABC thriller series Quantico, becoming the first South Asian lead in an American network drama. That same year, she founded Purple Pebble Pictures, producing Marathi films like Ventilator (2016) and Paani (2019), along with the Hindi biopic The Sky Is Pink (2019). Over the years, she has appeared in several Hollywood films, including Baywatch (2017), Isn't It Romantic (2019), The White Tiger (2021), and The Matrix Resurrections (2021). She also starred in the Russo Brothers’ series Citadel.
After a seven-year hiatus, Priyanka is set to return to Indian cinema with SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi, alongside Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj, which is scheduled for release on April 7, 2027.
