Asha Bhosle’s Final Days

Asha Bhosle was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on April 11 due to chest congestion and sadly passed away on April 12 from multiple organ failure. Her son, Anand Bhosle, confirmed the news and shared that her cremation would take place at Shivaji Park on April 13 at 4 pm.

Renowned as one of the most celebrated singers from the late 1960s through the 1990s, Asha also lent her voice to numerous indie-pop hits, solidifying her status as a living legend from the golden era of Indian music. Following the announcement of her death, many celebrities, politicians, and fans have taken to social media to pay their respects.
