Exciting New Thriller 'I, Nobody'

Prithviraj Sukumaran is gearing up to captivate audiences with his new film I, Nobody, a thriller helmed by Nissam Basheer, known for his work on Rorschach. The film, which also features Parvathy Thiruvothu in a significant role, has successfully passed its censor review and is set to hit theaters worldwide on July 9. Produced by Prithviraj Productions and E4 Experiments, I, Nobody has generated considerable buzz thanks to its compelling trailer, which teases a suspenseful narrative centered around a bank heist. Here’s a comprehensive overview of the film, including its certification details, runtime, storyline, and cast.

Details on 'I, Nobody': Certification, Runtime, and Release Date

Prithviraj Sukumaran's I, Nobody has received a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) ahead of its theatrical debut on July 9. The actor shared this news on social media, stating, "Cleared. Certified. Ready. In cinemas worldwide, July 9th! #INobody #ANobodyLikeYou #EveryNobody. The trailer for I, Nobody is now available."

The film has a runtime of 2 hours and 14 minutes. Directed by Nissam Basheer, who is recognized for his previous works like Kettyolaanu Ente Malakha and Rorschach, this project marks his first collaboration with both Prithviraj Sukumaran and Parvathy Thiruvothu.

Plot and Cast of 'I, Nobody'

Written by Sameer Abdul, I, Nobody tells the story of Rajeevan (played by Prithviraj Sukumaran), an average bank employee and devoted family man whose life spirals into turmoil when he is wrongfully accused of embezzling funds and orchestrating a bank heist. As the police ramp up their investigation and various individuals pressure him to disclose the whereabouts of the missing money, Rajeevan becomes ensnared in a complex web of secrets. While the narrative initially seems to follow the traditional 'wrong man accused' trope, the trailer hints that his involvement in the mystery may be more intricate than it appears.

Alongside Prithviraj, Parvathy Thiruvothu plays a crucial role, with a supporting cast that includes Hakkim Shahjahan, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Ashokan, Vijayaraghavan, Madhupal, Nakshathra, Nandhu, Khalid Rahman, Sanju Sivaram, Sudhi Koppa, Manoj K.U., Irshad Ali, Nishanth Sagar, Ronnie Varghese, and many others.

Is 'I, Nobody' an Action Film?

During a promotional event, Prithviraj Sukumaran mentioned that I, Nobody is the first project where he collaborated extensively with stunt choreographer Yannick Ben. He noted that this was likely the longest duration Yannick had worked on a Malayalam film, with the entire stunt team traveling from France for the shoot in Thiruvananthapuram. Despite the presence of numerous action sequences, Prithviraj clarified that I, Nobody should not be classified as an action film.

The film is produced by Prithviraj's wife, Supriya Menon, along with Mukesh R. Mehta and CV Sarathi, under the banners of Prithviraj Productions and E4 Experiments. The technical team includes cinematographer Dinesh Purushothaman, editor Ramees MB, and music composer Jakes Bejoy.
