On Friday, President Droupadi Murmu was deeply touched during a performance by students from the National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities (NIEPVD) in Dehradun. Celebrating her 67th birthday, the President was surprised by a musical tribute from the students, who sang a touching birthday song that included the lyrics, 'Baar-Baar din ye aaye, baar-baar dil ye gaaye, aap jiye hazaro saal, ye meri hai aarzoo.' The event was also attended by Uttarakhand Governor Lt General Gurmit Singh (Retd) and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.


The heartfelt performance brought tears to the President's eyes, prompting an officer to offer her a handkerchief. This emotional moment became the highlight of the occasion.
