Pooja Hegde Celebrates 6 Years of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo: A Look Back at Butta Bomma

Mumbai: Pooja Hegde recently commemorated the sixth anniversary of the blockbuster film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which starred her alongside Allu Arjun. To celebrate this occasion, she shared a nostalgic video on her Instagram Stories, featuring moments from the iconic song 'Butta Bomma'.

In her post, she expressed her joy, wishing her followers a ‘Happy AVPL Day’.

The film, which showcased the sizzling chemistry between Pooja and Allu Arjun, became a massive success, ranking as the fourth-highest-grossing Telugu film ever at its release. It also held the title of the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2020 and the second-highest-grossing Indian film that year.

Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, the movie features a stellar cast, including Jayaram, Tabu, Sushanth, Nivetha Pethuraj, and others in pivotal roles.

Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo tells the story of Bantu, a young man who faces constant criticism from his father until he discovers he was switched at birth, altering his life forever.

The film has also been adapted into Hindi as Shehzada, starring Kartik Aaryan.

Looking ahead, Pooja is set to star in the upcoming romantic comedy Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, alongside Varun Dhawan. The film will also feature Mrunal Thakur, Kubbra Sait, and others, and is directed by David Dhawan, with a release date of June 5.

For those unfamiliar, Hai Jawani Toh Pyaar Hona Hai is a popular song from David Dhawan's Biwi No 1, featuring stars like Salman Khan and Karisma Kapoor.
