Box Office Performance of 'Hoppers'

The animated film "Hoppers," created by Pixar, is experiencing a downturn in its box office performance, with estimates suggesting it may fall short of the $400 million milestone globally. Nevertheless, it is expected to outpace the total earnings of "Jurassic Park III," the third film in the original Jurassic Park series, which was not helmed by Steven Spielberg. Currently, "Hoppers" is set to make a notable impact in its cinematic journey.

Last weekend, "Hoppers" dropped out of the top five in the domestic box office rankings due to stiff competition from a new release. The film also saw a decrease in its theater presence, losing 375 screens and now showing in 2,475 locations across North America. During its seventh weekend, "Hoppers" brought in $3.0 million, reflecting a 26.8% decline compared to the previous weekend. After 45 days in theaters, its domestic earnings have reached $161.3 million.

On the international stage, "Hoppers" has crossed a significant milestone, surpassing $200 million in earnings, with a total of $206.0 million internationally. In its seventh weekend abroad, the film earned a modest $5 million across 51 markets, marking a 32.4% drop from the previous weekend. When combined with its domestic earnings, the film's global total stands at $367.3 million.

Industry analysts predict that "Hoppers" is unlikely to hit the $400 million mark during its theatrical run, estimating its final worldwide gross to be between $380 million and $385 million. Released on March 6, the film has attracted attention for its box office performance, and as the numbers continue to change, it remains a focal point for cinema fans and industry experts alike.
