Phoebe Dynevor Expresses Desire to Return to Bridgerton Amid Production Silence
Phoebe Dynevor's Wish to Rejoin Bridgerton
Phoebe Dynevor and Regé-Jean Page were the initial stars of the popular Netflix series Bridgerton, which debuted in December 2020. Although Page left after the first season, Dynevor returned for Season 2, which starred Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley. Recently, Dynevor expressed her eagerness to reprise her role in the Regency drama. However, she revealed that she has yet to hear from the production team, leaving her in anticipation. Here’s what she shared about her character, Daphne, in the series.
Phoebe Dynevor's Interest in Returning
In a recent interview with Collider, Dynevor clarified that she did not exit the series voluntarily. She stated, "I would always come back if I was asked… I have not received a call and when I get that call I will be there if I can." She also mentioned that the production seemed uncertain about her character's direction after Season 2, referring to herself and Page as the "ones that got away."
Even while filming Season 4, which starred Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha, Dynevor reiterated her willingness to make a special appearance. She hopes that showrunner Jess Brownell is aware of her interest and is waiting for a call!
The Netflix series introduces a new couple each season, based on Julia Quinn's romance novels, exploring the love lives of the Bridgerton siblings, from the eldest Anthony (Bailey) to the youngest Hyacinth (Florence Hunt), all named alphabetically.
