Box Office Performance of 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu'
Actor and politician Pawan Kalyan has made his comeback to cinema with the release of 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu'. Despite the initial excitement, the film has garnered mixed reviews and has seen a notable decline in box office earnings following a strong debut. Here’s a detailed look at the box office performance of 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu'.
Box Office Collection on Day 6
The film kicked off with a robust Rs 12.75 crore from its premiere and an impressive Rs 34.75 crore on its opening day. However, it experienced a dramatic 76.98% drop on the second day, earning only Rs 8 crore. A slight recovery was noted on Day 3 with Rs 9.15 crore and Rs 10.6 crore on Day 4. Unfortunately, Day 5 saw another steep decline, with collections plummeting over 78% to just Rs 2.1 crore.
As per early estimates from Sacnilk, Day 6 brought in Rs 1.75 crore, marking a 16.67% decrease from the previous day. This brings the total box office earnings to around Rs 79.10 crore across all languages, with the Telugu version leading the way, while the Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam versions contributed minimally.
Delays in Production
The film's journey has not been without its challenges, having faced multiple delays since its announcement in 2020. In an interview with The Hindu, Pawan Kalyan explained the reasons behind these setbacks. He mentioned, “Director Krish Jagarlamudi presented us with a compelling story that we all appreciated. However, the pandemic caused significant delays, and my political commitments further complicated matters. Although Krish eventually stepped back, Rathnam and Jyothi Krishna took over the direction and worked tirelessly to bring the film to completion.”
