Mumbai, July 10: Renowned playback singer Papon, celebrated for hits like ‘Bulleya’, ‘Jiyein Kyun’, and ‘Moh Moh Ke Dhaage’, has unveiled his latest track ‘Hote Tak’ from the film ‘Metro…In Dino’. This song artfully combines the profound essence of Ghalib's poetry with contemporary musical elements.
Composed by his regular collaborator Pritam and featuring lyrics by Momin Khan Momin, ‘Hote Tak’ reinterprets the spirit of Mirza Ghalib in a fresh, modern context. The track is characterized by its elegance, emotional depth, and immersive quality.
Papon shared his thoughts on the song, stating, “’Hote Tak’ is truly special; it embodies Ghalib's timeless essence while infusing a modern soul. Performing it felt like merging poetry with raw emotion. It’s a piece that lingers with you.”
