Patna: Pankaj Tripathi's brother sustained injuries after an alleged axe attack linked to a land dispute in their native village located in Gopalganj district, Bihar, as reported by local authorities on Monday.


The violent incident occurred on Sunday evening in Belsand village, within the jurisdiction of the Madhopur police station.


According to ADG (Law and Order) Sudhanshu Kumar, "Bijendra Nath Tiwari was assaulted with an axe during a conflict over land in his village."


Law enforcement has apprehended the primary suspect involved in the attack, and the weapon used has been seized.
