Nora Fatehi's Car Accident Update

New Delhi: Actress Nora Fatehi took to social media to reassure her fans that she is recovering after a serious car accident that left her feeling "slightly traumatized."

The incident occurred while she was en route to the Sunburn music festival in Mumbai when another vehicle collided with hers. Authorities have since detained the driver, who was reportedly intoxicated.

In a series of Instagram stories shared on Sunday, Fatehi recounted the harrowing experience, stating, "Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you know that I’m okay. I was involved in a serious car accident earlier today. A drunk driver crashed into my car, and the impact was quite intense, causing me to hit my head against the window."

She mentioned that she suffered minor injuries and a slight concussion, expressing gratitude for her survival. "I’m alive and well, just dealing with some swelling and minor injuries. It could have been much worse, and I want to emphasize the dangers of drinking and driving. I have always been against alcohol," she added.

Fatehi further elaborated on her stance against alcohol and drugs, stating, "I’ve never been a fan of substances that alter your state of mind. It’s shocking that we still have to discuss the dangers of drinking and driving in 2025. That moment was terrifying, and I’m still processing it."

Despite the accident, she chose to perform at the festival alongside DJ David Guetta, explaining, "I refuse to let anything hinder my work or ambitions. No drunk driver will take away my opportunities. I’ve worked too hard to achieve my goals, and I want to remind everyone: don’t drink and drive."
