Nikki Bella is set to join the cast of the upcoming film Happy Gilmore 2, which will premiere on Netflix this summer. Previously, it was known that several professional wrestlers, including WWE's Becky Lynch and AEW's MJF, were involved in the project, but Bella's participation was not disclosed until the trailer gained attention.
During the recent Tudum event, Netflix unveiled a new trailer for Happy Gilmore 2, showcasing three wrestling stars. MJF will portray one of Happy's sons, Gordie, while the specific roles of Nikki Bella and Becky Lynch remain undisclosed. However, they can be seen together with Adam Sandler, the film's lead, at the 1:43 mark of the trailer.

It seems that both Nikki Bella and Becky Lynch will portray golfers, as they are featured during one of Happy Gilmore's golf rounds. According to Mike Johnson from a wrestling news outlet, Lynch is confirmed to have a supporting role as a golfer, and it appears Bella will also take on a similar role. Notably, the cast also includes former NFL player Reggie Bush.
MJF promoted his role on social media, stating, "I’m a Gilmore boy. And that means I’m better than you." Bella shared her enthusiasm for the project, posting a photo with MJF from the set and expressing, "Excited to have a fun little role in this incredibly iconic movie."

In a recent episode of the Nikki & Brie podcast, Nikki Bella addressed rumors regarding her potential involvement in the all-women WWE Evolution 2 event. She clarified that she had not confirmed any participation in that event but hinted at her role in a movie set for release in July.
Bella felt it was necessary to clarify the situation, especially after speculation arose that she had leaked information about Evolution's return before WWE's official announcement. Her involvement in Happy Gilmore 2, which is scheduled to debut on Netflix on July 25, confirms her focus on this film project.
