The Bella Twins' reunion has been a long-anticipated element for WWE Evolution 2025, as previously reported by various sources. WWE had initially planned for Nikki Bella to face one of the women's tag team champions, but the storyline shifted when Liv Morgan, the former champion, sustained an injury.
Nikki Bella is set to make her return to the ring during the Evolution Battle Royal on Sunday, July 13, at WWE Evolution 2025. Although she has been competing solo without her twin sister Brie, Nikki expressed to Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos that her comeback would feel complete only with the Bellas reuniting.

While promoting the event, Nikki voiced her hope that Brie would join her, emphasizing that their fans, the Bella Army, are eager for the duo's return as a tag team. Although no specific plans were mentioned, Nikki seemed optimistic about reuniting with her sister.
“I mean, it’s the only way I sometimes feel like I can win is if I have her. The fans are speaking really loudly — our Bella Army — they really want Brie back. And I really want her back. I feel like this comeback won’t be complete until the Bella Twins are together. So, it’ll be iconic,” Nikki stated when asked about Brie's potential participation at WWE Evolution 2025.
TMZ Sports previously reported that Brie was in discussions for a return at WWE Evolution 2025, although she claimed she had not been contacted by WWE. Brie has not competed since the 2022 women's Royal Rumble match, while Nikki participated in this year's edition.
