Nick Jonas, a versatile artist celebrated for his contributions to both music and film, recently opened up about his unique approaches to preparing for concerts versus acting roles. Jonas elaborated on his mindset, saying, "Before a performance, I tend to be more relaxed, sometimes enjoying a cocktail to set the mood. However, I don’t do that when preparing for a scene."
Rudd, 57, humorously added, "We never did that. But that’s mainly because it’s quite challenging to find alcohol in Ireland," referencing the film's shooting location. In 'Power Ballad', Rudd plays Rick, a wedding singer whose career is on the decline. The storyline follows Rick as he performs at a wedding where Jonas's character, Danny, a pop star, is present. Their bond strengthens during an impromptu jam session, culminating in a moment where Danny revitalizes one of Rick's songs, reigniting his career dreams.
The film, set against the stunning backdrop of Ireland, features a talented cast, including Marcella Plunkett, Havana Rose Liu, Jack Reynor, and Peter McDonald, who also wrote the screenplay.
