Netflix's Hit Comedy-Drama 'Single Papa' Set for Season 2: What to Expect!

New Delhi: The popular streaming service Netflix has officially announced the renewal of its comedy-drama series Single Papa, featuring Kunal Kemmu, for a second season.

The announcement was made via a post on Netflix's Instagram account on Monday, stating, "Badhai ho, season 2 hone wala hai. Watch Single Papa: Season 2, coming soon, only on Netflix."

This renewal follows the positive reception of the show's first season, which premiered on December 12.

In addition to Kemmu, the cast of Single Papa includes Prajakta Koli, Manoj Pahwa, and Ayesha Raza, among others.

Tanya Bami, the series head at Netflix India, expressed gratitude for the show's success, saying, "We’ve been so touched by the love Single Papa has received. Seeing people laugh, feel, and open up to the conversations the show has sparked around parenting, adoption, and love, has meant everything to us. The fact that it’s been trending globally for two weeks since release, and became No. 1 in India so quickly, reminds us why we tell these stories – because honest, simple emotions still connect deeply."

The series is co-created and produced by Ishita Moitra and Neeraj Udhwani, with Shashank Khaitan as the executive producer. It is directed by Hitesh Kewalya and Neeraj Udhwani, and produced by Aditya Pittie and Samar Khan under Juggernaut Productions.
