Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh has officially announced his resignation as the brand ambassador for “The Universal Idol,” a project linked with HMC Events. He cited significant issues regarding payment as the reason for his departure, urging caution to fellow artists and collaborators. In a detailed statement, Mukesh confirmed that he is terminating all current and future engagements with Universal Idol, HMC Events, and Mr. Shakeel Hassan along with his associates, effective immediately. He pointed out that despite multiple assurances, he had not received the payments owed to him. Mukesh revealed that three cheques meant for his compensation were returned unpaid, which he deemed a serious violation of trust.
