Mumbai: Renowned actress Neena Gupta is celebrated for her sharp wit, and her recent post on social media perfectly highlighted her candid personality.

In her latest Instagram update, the ‘Badhaai Ho’ star expressed her admiration for a design by her daughter, Masaba Gupta, while humorously explaining why she refrained from using the term 'sexy' to describe it. Neena mentioned that she has donned Masaba's creation numerous times, noting that it appears 'new and effective' each time she wears it. However, she playfully remarked that she initially wanted to call it 'sexy' but held back, jokingly stating, 'phir log bolenge iss buddhi ko kya hua?'

Alongside her post, Neena wrote, 'I have worn this Masaba’s creation so many times…Every time it looks new and effective.'

The accompanying image features Neena in a chic black kaftan-style dress, complemented by long earrings and a fashionable black handbag. Her makeup was kept minimal, and her hair was styled in a neat bun.

On the professional front, Neena Gupta recently appeared in the crime thriller sequel 'Vadh 2,' which premiered on February 6, 2026.
