Nawazuddin Siddiqui, a well-known figure in Indian cinema, is expanding his horizons by entering the Punjabi film industry. He is reportedly set to star in a Punjabi-language movie, with actress Sonam Bajwa expected to join him in a leading role.

**Support from Gippy Grewal?**
As per a report from a media outlet, Gippy Grewal is anticipated to lend his support to this upcoming project. This isn't Nawazuddin's first experience in regional cinema; he has previously appeared in the Telugu film *Saindhav* and the Tamil movie *Petta*, where he portrayed a villain opposite Rajinikanth.

Moreover, a sequel to the 2018 film *Tumbbad*, titled *Tumbbad 2*, is also in development. Although no formal announcement has been made, it seems that Nawaz is gearing up for his debut in Punjabi cinema.

**Sonam Bajwa's Journey in Punjabi Films**
Sonam Bajwa began her acting career in 2013 with the Punjabi film *Best of Luck*. She has since starred in various films, including *Sardar Ji 2* and *Super Singh*. In addition to her work in Punjabi cinema, she has also taken on Hindi projects such as *Housefull 5*, *Baaghi 4*, *Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat*, and *Border 2*. Nawazuddin was last featured in the film *Main Actor Nahin Hoon*, which premiered earlier this year.
