In light of the ongoing protests at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, renowned actor Naseeruddin Shah has finally shared his thoughts regarding the violent incidents that occurred during the Chalo Sansad march on July 20. Known for his outspoken views on socio-political issues, Shah expressed his deep anger and disappointment after witnessing the violent clashes at the protest site. He took to Instagram to share a heartfelt video, where he reacted emotionally to the aggression faced by students protesting the NEET paper leak controversy. Shah condemned the actions of those who resorted to violence against the youth.

In his video message, Naseeruddin stated, “My heart is heavy, and I am filled with rage seeing how our children are being mistreated by these thugs, who remind me of masked agents in America, wielding sticks. Think about your own children and consider the consequences that await you.”

Naseeruddin Shah Supports the Students

He continued, “To all these children, I want to say, do not lose your courage. Many people empathize with you and stand by your side. Keep fighting; I have always had faith in the youth of our nation, and that faith has only grown stronger. We are with you in this struggle.”

Recently, a video circulated on social media suggesting that Naseeruddin and his sons, Vivaan and Imaad, were present at the protest in Jantar Mantar. However, this footage was actually from a film screening at Regal Theatre in Mumbai.

Protests are not limited to Delhi; supporters of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) are also demonstrating in Mumbai. In response, the Mumbai police have prohibited gatherings of five or more individuals, as well as processions, loudspeakers, and fireworks from July 23 to August 6, to maintain public order.
