Celebrating Nani's Birthday with a New Film Announcement


On February 24, in honor of Natural star Nani's birthday, the production team behind his latest project, directed by Sujeeth of OG fame, revealed the film's title. Niharika Entertainment released a captivating animated video that introduced the title 'Bloody Romeo.' This teaser suggests that Nani will portray a unique character—a clever gangster masquerading as a chef. The animated clip, set to the tune of 'No. 1 Gangsta,' establishes a comic-noir atmosphere, blending stylish visuals with action. The film, produced by Venkat Boyanapalli in collaboration with Unanimous Productions, is set to commence filming this summer, generating excitement for one of the most visually striking releases of 2026.


Nani's Role as a Chef in 'Bloody Romeo'


The teaser presents Nani as a gangster who operates undercover in a kitchen. The animation creatively merges culinary elements with crime, showcasing scenes like a smoke-filled kitchen and a pressure cooker that explodes like a grenade. Nani's charisma shines through as he lights a cigar with a burning Joker card, emphasizing his role as a 'witty gangster.' His character is depicted as intelligent, humorous, and unpredictable, with hidden motives that keep the audience guessing.



Directed by Sujeeth, known for the blockbuster 'They Call Him OG,' which grossed Rs 155 crores on its opening day, 'Bloody Romeo' is produced by Venkat Boyanapalli under Niharika Entertainment in partnership with Unanimous Productions. The team is expected to announce the remaining cast and crew shortly, with plans for a pan-Indian release.



It's worth noting that the film was officially launched in October 2025 during a traditional pooja ceremony attended by Nani, Sujeeth, and the entire crew, with Venkatesh Daggubati as the chief guest.


Nani's Other Upcoming Projects


Currently, Nani is also engaged with 'The Paradise,' directed by Srikanth Odela. Following the success of 'Dasara' in 2023, 'The Paradise' is scheduled for release on August 21, 2026, across eight languages, featuring music by Anirudh Ravichander. This film marks the second collaboration between Nani and director Srikanth Odela after the massive success of 'Dasara,' which remains the highest-grossing film of Nani's career. Since its announcement, 'The Paradise' has generated significant anticipation among Telugu cinema fans. The release date has been moved from March to August 21, 2026, allowing other films like 'Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups' and 'Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge' to fill the earlier slot.



Produced by SLV Cinemas, 'The Paradise' will be available in eight languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, English, and Spanish. With music by Anirudh Ravichander, the film is poised to attract a broad audience and achieve commercial success across India.
