Nagarjuna Akkineni recently marked the success of his son Akhil Akkineni's film, 'Lenin', during a grand event held in Hyderabad. The Telugu star expressed his heartfelt gratitude to fans for their support and shared his thoughts on the film industry during the celebration. He raised concerns regarding the frequent delays in film releases within Tollywood, drawing a comparison to Hollywood, where Christopher Nolan had announced the release date for 'The Odyssey' (July 17) a year in advance. Nagarjuna emphasized that Indian filmmakers should adopt similar practices to minimize delays.

During his address at the success meet for 'Lenin', Nagarjuna became emotional while thanking the cast and crew involved in the project. He initiated a discussion on the reasons behind the postponements of Telugu films. Notably, 'Lenin' was originally scheduled for release on June 26, 2026, but it eventually premiered on July 10. He stated, “If we provide the film to the post-production team at least two weeks prior to the release, they can refine it to perfection. This applies to me as well; I worked on this film until the very end.” He reiterated the importance of adopting Hollywood's efficient work patterns for improved outcomes.
