Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin has become a hallmark of success in Indian television. As Season 7 continues to captivate viewers, Kapoor has announced that the series will wrap up on her birthday, June 7, 2026. This pivotal news was shared by Kapoor on her Instagram Stories, where she elaborated on the reasons for the show's conclusion.

After much speculation about Naagin 7's future, Kapoor took to social media to confirm the show's end, addressing the concerns of dedicated fans who have been invested in the storyline.

In two heartfelt videos, Kapoor disclosed that the initial plan was to conclude the series in April 2026. However, following requests from the network, the finale was rescheduled to coincide with her birthday. She noted, “None of the Naagin seasons were intended to be limited to just 30 episodes, but we extended them to 48, and we will return next year.” This indicates her dedication to the franchise while recognizing the need for flexibility based on external influences.

In another video, Kapoor assured fans that a new season of Naagin is expected to premiere in 2027. She highlighted the necessity of shorter seasons to allow her to pursue other projects. “To bring Naagin back annually, we should opt for shorter seasons so I can manage my time better and explore other opportunities,” she explained. Kapoor also mentioned that the current extended season will air for an additional six months before the anticipated hiatus.

Naagin 7 stars Priyanka Chahar Choudhary as the lead shape-shifting serpent, with her chemistry alongside Namik Paul receiving much acclaim. The ensemble cast also features Kanika Mann, Alice Kaushik, Ajita Kulkarni, Krishna Shetty, and Mohit Duseja. Despite ranking in the top 10 of last week’s TRP Report, Season 7 saw a notable decline in ratings, landing in ninth place, trailing behind other popular series.
