Sonipat, Oct 30: In a significant development, the Mumbai Police have apprehended another suspect from Sonipat district in Haryana linked to the shooting incident involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff's vehicle. This brings the total number of arrests in this case to twelve, with nine individuals hailing from Sonipat.
The latest suspect, named Amar, was taken into custody in Rohna village, further solidifying the connection to Sonipat. Investigators are currently scrutinizing financial transactions and relationships among the suspects.
Reports indicate that Amar is a friend and neighbor of Kunal, who was previously arrested. Authorities discovered that Kunal had allegedly transferred ₹40,000 to Amar's bank account.
Following this, Amar is said to have sent ₹12,000 to Radha's account, another suspect arrested earlier, reportedly on Kunal's orders.
The Mumbai Police are delving into these financial transactions to ascertain their purpose and the relationships among the suspects. The investigation is focused on tracing the money flow as part of the broader inquiry into the shooting incident.
Amar, who has completed education up to Class 10, is employed at a supplement store, while his parents reportedly work as daily-wage laborers.
After his arrest, Amar was presented in court, and the police are preparing to transport him to Mumbai for further questioning.
In the meantime, Amar's family maintains his innocence, claiming he has been wrongfully accused in this matter.
With nine of the twelve arrested suspects linked to Sonipat, the district has become a focal point for the Mumbai Police's investigation.
Authorities are analyzing the financial interactions and personal ties among the suspects to clarify the timeline of events and the specific roles of each individual involved.
Additionally, it has been reported that the suspects utilized encrypted messaging services like Signal and Zangi for communication. Police are encountering significant hurdles in deciphering these digital conversations, as tracing discussions from the past eight months is deemed essential for revealing the alleged conspiracy.
