Mohit Jaswani's New Chapter in Sairaab
Actor Mohit Jaswani, recognized for his intense role as Arjun Suri in Colors TV's Naagin 7, is gearing up for a fresh venture in the romantic drama Sairaab. After wrapping up his role in Naagin 7, Jaswani shared his mixed feelings about the experience, likening the conclusion of his six-month journey to a breakup. He noted that the first night post-wrap was both tranquil and peculiar.
Looking back on his time in Naagin 7, Jaswani expressed his appreciation for producer Ekta Kapoor, saying, "I would love to work with her productions again in the future." He highlighted the invaluable lessons he gained during filming and mentioned how much he will miss the cast and crew. In Naagin 7, he portrayed Arjun, the younger sibling of Aryaman Suri, played by Namik Paul.
Jaswani's transition to Sairaab was quick, and he described the excitement of shifting from one role to another. "There’s nothing like the thrill of closing one chapter and diving straight into another," he stated. He expressed eagerness about meeting new colleagues and engaging with a different storyline, which he finds revitalizing.
Sairaab is the Hindi version of the well-known Kannada series Manasella Neene. The show stars Rohit Chandel as a famous singer facing the pressures of fame and emotional struggles, while Madirakshi Mundle plays a key role linked to the music scene. Jaswani will take on the role of Mundle's character's stepson, adding complexity to the drama. The series is set to debut on June 2.
This new role marks a significant shift for Jaswani, moving away from his recent portrayal as a villain. He expressed excitement about embodying a positive character, stating, "After playing the bad boy for so long, it feels refreshing to take on a good role."
