Mohanlal has officially revealed his upcoming film, tentatively named L365, marking his 365th lead role. The project is particularly thrilling as it marks the directorial debut of Austin Das Thomas, who gained recognition for his performance in Thallumaala.
In a post on X, Mohanlal expressed his excitement, stating, “With immense joy, I announce my next film. Directed by Austin Dan Thomas, written by Retheesh Ravi, and produced by Ashiq Usman under Ashiq Usman Productions. I am grateful to be part of this exciting new chapter.”

The film is expected to be a cop action-comedy, with Mohanlal portraying a police officer.
On another note, Mohanlal is preparing for his role in Hridayapoorvam, directed by Sathyan Anthikad, alongside Malavika Mohanan and Sangeeth Pratap, which is anticipated to release around Onam 2025. Additionally, he is rumored to be filming for Jailer 2, where he will reprise his character Mathew in the action franchise led by Rajinikanth. Furthermore, he will make cameo appearances in the upcoming films Bha Bha Ba and MMMN (Patriot), featuring Mammootty.
