In her video, Manjari explained that Mikey had been part of the community since around 2019 or 2020, having been abandoned by his previous owners. The residents had taken care of him, treating him as a cherished member of their society. Reflecting on the days following Mikey's disappearance, she stated, "We were all worried and we all tried to find where he is. We made posters, we put them everywhere. We've been trying to search for him incessantly." Despite their efforts, including discussions with security personnel and thorough searches, they initially found no clues about his fate.
Manjari revealed that a breakthrough occurred when someone allegedly disclosed what had transpired. According to her, Mikey was resting peacefully in a basement area when he was attacked. Without naming any suspects, she claimed that he was struck on the head with a heavy object, which left him disoriented. Following this, he was reportedly dragged to another location where the assault continued, resulting in severe injuries that left him bleeding and fighting for his life.
A Heartbreaking Account
Describing the incident through tears, Manjari recounted, "They hit him more... he was bleeding from his mouth." She further alleged that Mikey was placed alive inside a sack and discarded in a nearby creek. At the time of her video, residents were still searching for his body and trying to piece together the events that led to this tragedy. Manjari broke down while reminiscing about the dog she had cared for, describing him as a friendly and harmless creature loved by many. She shared that he was regularly groomed and cared for by the community, saying, "He was such a happy boy. He would come out from his bath and he would have zoomies around the house and run and run."
