Mumbai, Oct 7: Television actress Mahhi Vij has been in the spotlight since her entry into the Bigg Boss 20 house.
Recent news about her has sparked discussions beyond the confines of the reality show.
Reports indicate that Mahhi's Instagram account has been disabled during her time on Bigg Boss. Attempts to find her account or access links from her fan pages lead to a blank screen.
For those unfamiliar, Mahhi decided to join the show after years of declining offers, calling her choice a deeply personal one.
From the start of the season, she has been a topic of conversation, facing criticism for her perceived bossy behavior, including a dispute with Aman Gandhi regarding luggage and her requests for housemates to make tea.
Outside the show, her relationship with longtime friend Nadeem Nadz has also been a subject of speculation following her divorce.
Mahhi has firmly denied these rumors, stating that Nadeem has been a close friend and a father figure for many years. She clarified that her daughter Tara referring to him as 'Abba' was a mutual decision made with her ex-husband Jay.
Meanwhile, Jay Bhanushali, Mahhi's former spouse, has been spending quality time with their daughter Tara while she is in the Bigg Boss house.
In a recent interaction on social media, Jay was asked how he was coping with Tara's needs in Mahhi's absence. He expressed that he doesn't see it as a challenge but rather enjoys the time they share.
“I don’t manage. I am really enjoying this time with her. I think the father-daughter bond is stronger now. I want Mahhi to win the show, and the second thing is I get more time with my daughter,” Jay shared.
To provide some context, Mahhi and Jay announced their separation in January 2026 after 14 years of marriage. They tied the knot in 2011 and have a daughter named Tara, in addition to being foster parents to Khushi and Rajveer.
