Linda Evangelista Sells Iconic NYC Penthouse: A Look Inside Her Luxurious Loft
Linda Evangelista's NYC Penthouse Hits the Market
Supermodel Linda Evangelista has officially sold her impressive penthouse in New York City, located in the historic Spears Building in West Chelsea. This sale signifies the end of a significant chapter for the fashion icon, who had owned the residence for nearly 25 years after acquiring it in 2001 for around $1.4 million.
The loft, housed in a repurposed 19th-century manufacturing facility, served as her main home throughout much of her illustrious career. After being on the market for some time with multiple price cuts, the property was sold for $6.75 million. Although this amount is less than the initial asking price of $9.45 million set in 2024, it still represents a substantial profit from her original purchase.

Covering an impressive 4,022 square feet, the penthouse showcases an industrial-chic design, featuring soaring 13-foot ceilings, whitewashed exposed brick walls, and polished concrete floors. The open layout includes four bedrooms and two bathrooms, along with a chef’s kitchen that boasts butcher-block countertops and white cabinetry. Notable interior features include a cozy wood-burning fireplace, a hidden home office nook, and a built-in bar area.
The primary suite is particularly remarkable, featuring a spa-like en-suite bathroom with a soaking tub and a spacious walk-in dressing room equipped with six custom, floor-to-ceiling closets to house an extensive wardrobe. Large windows throughout the unit offer stunning views of the Manhattan skyline and the High Line.

The standout feature of this property is undoubtedly its 2,500-square-foot private rooftop terrace, designed for entertaining with wood decking, a dedicated lounge area, and a dining space shaded by a wooden pergola. The terrace also includes a built-in grilling station, providing a private escape above the bustling city.
The property garnered extra attention during its listing when it was briefly rented by actor Keanu Reeves. The renowned star, famous for his roles in the Matrix and John Wick series, utilized the loft while in New York City for his Broadway performance in Waiting for Godot, reportedly paying $45,000 per month for the rental.
The sale wraps up a lengthy listing journey for the supermodel. After the initial $9.45 million price tag failed to attract buyers, the price was adjusted to $8.19 million and then to $7.99 million in 2026 before the final sale was completed.
